No matter what i do the unit sticks on the splash screen

Formated sd card tt clear tool
New or old navcore New or old map unit still sticks on the splash screen.

Is there anyway to reset the internal memory in the unit not the sdcard. Thanx

You have not given us any info to work with. We are good at what we do, but we are not mind readers.

tomtom 1 3rd edition
sd card on unit

Deleted everything on the card

Connect to tthome this will install the default navcore then after restart it will install newer navcore
but it can,t as it will stop at the splash screen. only way to get the unit to restart is a hard reset
i can install anymap or navcore to thr sd card but will still stick on splash screen

Ican load any map navcore to the sd card but it will not go past the bootup

the only way is to flash the internal memory, is this possible

The device cant reboot without jamming so it wont create the bif file

I have copied bif from an old backup

You need 4 things on the card.
1. Navcore
2. ttgo.bif file
3. Map
4. FastActivate Premium 1.8.8.6

Run FastActivate & click the first 3 buttons, one at a time left to right.
Disconnect & reboot. Done and all dct file fine

i have same problem with a tomtom gps. do not know what is the factory bootloader. I bought second hand I tried all the tutorials on the net without results. mention that bootscreen freeze problem is following. turns off only when I squeeze 30 seconds. tomtom one n14644 canada model is 310 (4ee0.001.01) PC1288h00598. last bootloader is 5.5128.

There isn't a "factory bootloader". Every navcore, up to 9.400, has it's own bootloader version. 5.5128 is a good version. Leave it alone.

don't understand me . I ask whar bootloader i have from factory because i believe he was change. i see on this forum and another with 1.xxxx bootloader
