Sync'ing tomtom via 110 to computer

Has anybody ever had a problem connecting a via 110 up to the computer.

When i plug it into the usb nothing happens on the computer or tomtom

All devices that run navcore v10 (anything released after mid 2010) can ONLY be connected using MyTomTom (download from tt.com), not using TTHome (and are not crackable either).

I've tried that and it still won't connect

You could try to uninstal MyTomTom and download again or it could be a dodgy USB connection/lead?
