I'm back with some questions about navigation-systems.

This time for my uncles navigation system.


1. He has a VD TECH navigation system.
And a few years ago, i think 4/5/6 years ago i think i have installed an application with some help of navitotal or the old-board with software on it with bunch of navigation apps like:
TOMTOM/MIO/ETC AND LOT OF MORE.

Since a week 1 or 2 he is having proble now with the TOMTOM APP HE IS USING.
BECAUSE THE TOMTOM APP SAYS THERE ARE NOW GPS EQUIPEMENTS ON THE NAVIGATION? SO he cant use the navigation-system.
I have tried the other navigation-apps and they tell me the same thing no GPS equipement on the navigation.

So my question is what can be the problem? Is the VD-TECH navigation broke or the
