My 730 with navcore 9510 works still with no problems. Position very accurate and finds all satellites

GO 930's running (modified) Navcore 9205 ~ Still performing perfectly. Sats, Time, Date, ETA, Remaining Distance … all functioning without problems and just completed journeys of several hundred miles today (8th) without a hitch.

My GO730 running 9.702 truck navcore at first it could find the sats but wouldn't lock onto them even after 30 mins.
TomTom Home offered a quickgpsfix update ,after downloading that it now locks on quickly and appears to act normal regarding keeping time ,will have to give it a long test to know for sure.

No there is no updated truck navcore,have you tried updating with tomtom home?,as my previous post said it offered me a gpsfix update which appears to have helped with the satellites.

Would this WNRO be as simple as a divide by zero issue and when the week count gets to 1 the confusion will end and the clock will return?

If you do a restart the clock will run for up to a minute until the minute count increases - enough time to check your etas and leeways but not really practical switching it on and off frequently as you drive .

Updating to the 9.541 navcore does fix the clock but at a loss of my tts and my custom menus. I will bide my time until the 13/14th and see what happens.

My XL IQ Routes was suffering the clock issues, I somehow managed to update it to 9.541.2-2042 LE with TT Home despite a few warning messages saying the device was not registered to my account (it isn't), the clock now works fine

In fact, it is not the "syncml" file that fixes the bug, but the "glgps" file. Just replace the file \bin\glgps of 9.702 navcore by that of 9.541. Everything then works normally on GO x20, x30, x40 and x50.

P. S. The "gl" of "glgps" probably means "Global Locate".

I have successfully tested on the following models: GO 920, GO 630, GO 730, GO 930, GO 540, GO 940, GO 750, GO 950 and GO 9000. I do not have a One to test.

N. B. The same modification also works for navcores 9.510 and 9.401 (I tried). It's interesting for French people, because the 9.401 is the last navcore before 9.510 which still indicates the exact position of the radars in France after the law of January 5th, 2012 which forbids it.

Almost a week now since WRNO-day and my GO930s are still fully functioning on Navcore 9205 (time, sync, eta, time remaining etc) so I can only assume that they were 'born' with a later firmware version that was designed to deal with the 2019 gps clock reset.

As for TomTom, they emailed me to tell me that my device needed to be updated or I could buy a new one at a discount, but now I'm getting a different email that is telling me that my device might not have enough memory for the latest map... (they're already using the latest maps) .. and so I should buy a new one.

Strange then, that TTHome (which thinks I have Navcore 9541 when actually I don't - see my thread about fooling TTHome) is still giving me GPSFix updates and map v1025 updates. Perhaps the next email will be to tell me that my existing device(s) are going to...
a) self-destruct
b) be illegal under EU regulations … or perhaps
c) explode
and must therefore be replaced.
I will wait with great interest to see what they say next!

GO 930s use the sirf 3 chipset which is why they continue to work fine.all surf 3 chipset models are ok even some very very old models . I think TomTom would love too knock them out for good though .
