He only grabs 4 satelites. Already tried different solutions but none seem to work. I'm using navcore 9.541SE. Thanks

The SiRFstarIII GPS chip used in TomTom devices is not affected by the WNRO bug.
The issue lies with how the old Navcore interprets the NMEA string since the rollover.
Using Navcore 9.541SE on these devices will fix the issue... it works perfectly on my old TomTom GO 910 devices.
If you using a GL1 GPS based device I think you're pretty much out of luck as I believe the GL1 GPS chip doesn't support NMEA but a proprietary output which no longer functions correctly after the WNRO... I’m sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Anyone know of a WNRO fix for TomTom Navigator 7.910 (9185) for WinCE devices?
As Navigator 7 was a pretty much a direct port it exhibits the same behaviour as some TomTom devices e.g. the clock is stuck at 12:00.
I've been using it since 2008 on a Trumpion WinCE device which I believe is based on the Navigo SY885.
Although the system can no longer update it's own time or date correctly since the WNRO (this appears to be a problem with the Chinese software running in the background), the NMEA output from the GPS chip is correct so a fix is possible for Navigator 7... if anyone still uses Navigator 7?

I have a tomtom one v8 with navcore 9541 and brown map 1030. After having solved the subject of the time in the tomtom with GL1 which I am greatly grateful for. I see a small problem and sometimes it takes a long time to get satellite, but if the tomtom is reset, it takes the satellites in less than 2 minutes.

That's why my question is that I would like the music to appear when the tomtom is turned on, which seems to be a sign of having restarted or reset. Or without there being music the tomtom I think with GL1 has to have a reset to work fantastically well with the satellites

And that you have to get it, gentlemen, create something that the tomtom does that reset

I hope you understand me

a cordial greeting

How many times over how many forums have you posted this same message?

Create a new text document called 'suicide.txt' > open it and enter the number '20' > close & save it > rename the file extension from *.txt to *.dat = suicide.dat

When this new file is placed into the root of your device, it will turn the device off after 20 seconds
