mr thick :( 520t

i have been using and patching an old tomtom one v2 with good success for a while now.
I am currently in the process of buying a second handn 520t i understand it has bulit in maps etc and also an sd card slot.
My question is can i run navore and maps seperatly from the inbuilt navcore etc ?
i want truck maps and older navcore for when im towing them swap the card and use a newew latest navcore and latest car maps when not towing can this be done ?

1. "Built in" is an odd way to describe it. The navcore & map are on the 520's internal memory, no different than your TT One v2.
2. Yes. You can put the latest truck navcore & latest truck map on the card (I suggest a 4GB card) & upgrade the internal memory to the latest navcore & map of your choice.
3. Not a problem.
The SD card is the default source when installed in the card slot. Remove it and the internal is the source.

Make a backup of your current setup using Windows Explorer.
Download this map: TomTom Map Europe Truck 845.2649 2.15GB [b]DOWNLOAD; TomTom Truck[/b]
Download this navcore: [Please Register or Login to download file] + SE_ttsystem.8.395.1913.rar
Download FastActivate ENG 09.10.2010 {1.7} Premium version. Read the info in this link.
Copy in the map folder to the card.
Copy in the Navcore to the card. Copy in only the SE ttsystem File from the rar to the card, overwriting the existing ttsystem file..
RUN THE KEYGEN TO PATCH THE MAP. DONE!!__________________

may i ask what would be the best navcore to run on my 520t when i get it ? im downloading the Europe 855.2885 slowly in readiness .

I reccomend 9.205 for the 520

If you are going to use your 4GB truck card in the 520, put a copy of the 520's ttgo.bif file on the card, before you repatch the map.

so over wite the ttsystem and add the PND navigator to the official tomtom download file. I presume i can do this pre install ready to use just drop in then replace if prompted again just the two files

Yes, you can overwrite the ttsystem file and the PNDNavigator file will be an addition. Your presumption is correct

the second file i need to download i.e the modified one when i go to download it asks me to enter the captcha words ive tried for two days now with no luck it continually states i have the wrong words entered!! although i do not
can anyone else download ? if so can you upload it temporaary to megaupload or similar
