You use old version if it say "home is already patched"

use newest fastactivator
FastActivate

Ok follow these 2 sets of instructions below to fix both TTHome errors.

Ok to fix the wrong version error you need to do the following
1.Change lines 9 + 10 in ttgo.bif to read Latest officiall navcore for your device (if you want to know the figures please ask and i will tell you or check in "Latest navcore" thread)

ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=????
ApplicationVersion=????

2.Save the file as ttgo.bak
3.Reboot your device
4.Connect to tthome and that error should not show up now

To patch tomtom home
you must connect to tthome choose button "Operate my device" tthome will now offer
to download a package of files amongst these is the file you need to patch. when downloaded
close tthome and download FastActivate 1.2
run the keygen from your pc and choose "Patch TomTom Home" this will now
patch tthome and let you use the "operate my device" feature there is no need to patch tthome
unless you want to use this emulator.

downloaded latest fast activation, ran patch home and this time it said it had patched it ok, maps and operate my device now work, but still getting " you have an invalid version of tom tom on this device"

so i should delete the current bak file

open the bifle change 9 and 10 to 8010/9369 and then save again , as what a bif or a bak file?

Wich unit are you trying to fix ? One XL isit ? The numbers are what Tendriver said in post #04
Open ttgo.bif and change lines 9+10 as below

ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=8010
ApplicationVersion=9369

Save your ttgo.bif as ttgo.bak and reeboot

Exactly as it is above no dots (.) in the numbers

If this does not work You want to create a ttgo.bak with exactly the same details as your ttgo.bif and then create a ttgo.ori with the same details i have posted above. This should fix your version error , do you still have the "operate my device" emulator error in tthome

i opened up the ttgo.bif file change lines 9 and 10 to read
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=8010
