Tom Tom Log in failed

Postby bondy99 » Sat Mar 12, 2016 11:53 am

Hi,

I don't know if anyone can help me with this.

On occassion I have been connecting my TomTom device to obtain minor updates to map corrections and Quick GPS fix.

I had to log in with username and password as we all do.

This time, it refused me to log in...password fails, when I pressed "Forgot passworrd re send", message comes back saying no such email address.

I then tried to create another account , 5 seperate occassions using different email addresses whihc I know are valid and legit...I get a response, fail to create.

TomTom giving me the willies at the moment.

Anyone else experiencing this or is it just me?

I have the same issue. Since I loaded the most recent UK map I get failed logins and, when Home does login, it does not download the map updates but gives me the red warning that I haven't downloaded updates for ** weeks. Updates are selected on and nothing has changed apart from the map. Also, I cannot now select not to backup my TomTom so it sits through a back-up each time I try to update:-( All very disappointing and time consuming.

Also, I can't 'Simulate' running the TomTom in Home as it now says that neither my UK or Europe maps can be used where they are obviously working fine on the unit!

Update,

Just tried again, able to log in this time, updated QuickGPS fix and small map adjustment / correction.

It tells me my Australia Map is up to date, bulldust, the map installed in TomTom XXL 540 Device is previous build.

New Map of Australia, currently not available
