I have a tomtom xl n14446 .I connect it to the pc but i cant add or delete because it says : impossible to read , and some time it's empty X:/ ; and it's so full that i can't make a save.
I want to make a hard reset or restore -restore with device didn't work-.

I made a hard reset by holding switch button for 15 s. I succede to delete icon cars only with TTHome because it's very full and there no space to add another map.
Can'I restore my device using Tomtom home and a restore file that I download from internet ? And when can I get it ?

To rule out a corrupted internal memory : doas your device have a SD slot and if so have you tried installing a NC onto the SD?
You can also delete all from the internal memory and try to update your device with Home.
If that goes well your device will complain that you have no map installed - and that can be fixed easily.

I cuted the old map and added the map I want , and used fast activate premium edition but it start and stop on :signal lost 5 or 10 seconds . I back the original map and still the same probleme stop at 5 or 10seconds.
nothing works ; and it REstart by it self , and can't read the start sound.
Its connected to TTHome But when I click update :

You have not followed the instructions.
I don't know what TTCONFIG is, but it is not a correct ttgo.bif as there are double entries with different values.
Signal lost only says that your device could not find a satellite, which is normal as it takes a while.
So again : delete all from the device and update through Home.
Start the device and it will complain that you have no map.
Add the map of your choice.
Run fast Activate in the root of your device - press the first 3 buttons starting from the left.

Its signal lost ; stop and restart by itself.
The probleme is that I cant delete the files from THE DEVICE K:/ . Than I will follow the instructions of course.

Halalouya , I fixed the problem. All that i Had to do is a right clik on the device and fix errors. That's It . You know what to do next.
