Tom Tom One blocked in computer mode

Postby ja56700 » Sun Jul 31, 2016 8:12 pm

Hi,

I've erase all the data on my GPS, excepted the ttgo.bif fille and then install the 9.510 Navcore version for 32 Mb device.

Then after install the France_970_7467 maps inside. The installation seems to be fin but TAASE et Fast activate open and directly close ...

And when rebooting, the blue bar in the computer mode is progressingand suddenly stop ... and it's the same with a on/off or a long reboot ...

I've tried to reinstall the 9.510 Navcore withtout map but it's the same, blocked in computer mode.

Did I've done a wrong manipulation ?

A file is missing ?

Thanksin advance :024:

P.S =. Original files : Navcore 8.042 and France v830.2303 on a Tom Tom One (first version I think)

Whitch bootloader you have

Checking bootloader (the only reliable method)

Enter a device reset 15 sec.

Then turn on the device and hold the start button until you
get info screen. Which bootloader is there.

With this bootloader you can only use the original navcore (8.041/8.042)
You can,t change this bootloader. DON,T TRY BECAUSE YOU HAVE A BRICK.
So you have to patched the navcore with FastAktivate
number 3 till the anoucement System Patched.
This mean that you can only use maps 970.7490 (7468/7491/7492) if meta is availble

When I'm running Fastactivate from tomtom storage or desktop PC, it open and close few seconds after.

Tom Tom home says that navcore 8.042 is installed ... but it doesn't work at all, same problem.

I've download navcore_8.041.9645.one2008_C.cab is it the right ? How can I install this navcore ?

Even when I try to restore the save ... same bug and same bug ...

To install the correct navcore for your device do you not put in a clean card and connect to TomTom home and it does it for you?

With only the navcore one the One is it possible to startup till the annoucement "No map found"
If so put on the map close your virusscanner temporarily and look if you can use FastAktivator

To my knowledge you don,t have an SD Card. After an backup (if this is possible).
Format the One Fat32 slow. After formatting connect the One with TomTom Home and
you got offer a new navcore. Install the navcore, Sometimes you have to do it in 2 stages
for the latest navcore (probely 8.042).
Disconnect the One give it a reset and start up till the announcement No map found).
If it works on that point then following post 7

Thanks you !

After formating the One, Tom tom Home proposed to me Tom TOm Application One v4 and after installation, I've the 8.041 navcore.

So now, I juste have to put Fastactivate, the meta and the map at the root of Tom Tom to get it work perfectly ?

You don,t have to put a meta on it because the meta is integrated in FastAktivate,
Choice 2 and 3 till announcement Navcore Patched.

Fastactivate won't run ...

even with kaspersky off ... it opens and exits few seconds later.

I try TToolwin from Bobby's TT Tool for Windows, but when clicking generate a key I've
There is no such key ('France-100780.meta') in keyfile 'Meta.txt'
'France-100780.meta' - Error

Whereas I've the meta from this file

I took the meta from there http://www.navitotal.com/maps-v9xx-f179/meta-codes-970-971-t18709.html
I've downloaded the 970-7490 map as you said few posts ago.

The meta for this map is 83 05 08 8C 3C AB 5E 47 4E 76 E2 6F A2 3F C9 26 France-100780.meta

I'm gonna try with an other downloas of Fastactivate.

I'm running WIn 10 64 bits

There's nothing wrong with FastActivate....you could try right click on FastAactivate.exe > compatibility > run in Win 7 mode....if not, do you have access to another PC to try?
