Let's see what you have learned over the last 8 or 9 months. What do you think you should do?

Have you upgraded the bootloader at all on the device ??
First off try a hard reset followd by the TomTom Clear Flash tool.

Don't get distracted with the bootloader issue. Posters on other forums have created a hysteria about them.
Load a new NC
SE_navcore.8.410.1218_32mb_Devices.rar & map on a card.

It would have been nice if you had included the above in post 1. Is 7462/8492 bootloader 53026 the original card? What is the map version?

In post 1 you reference 7462/8492 bootloader 53026. The .bif sez 7162/8492.
Is the original map folder on the card? If so & you have computer access to it, open the map's .pna file with notepad for the version.

OK. It is a 675.1409 map. Is it the original & is it on the card with the navcore??
All of the questions are to determine what you have to work with.
If you don't have an offical ONE v2 navcore, doesn't have to be the original & the original map, or a later version
bought from TT, then patching is going to be required.

its on an original tt map card with the navcore on there also, looking at the software and the map on the card no obvious signs of patching etc before

What are the first 2 characters of the device's serial #? You deleted it in the posted .bif, which was the right thing to do.

The current official navcore for the unit is 7.903. Have you tried to update with TT Home?
