just got given a ttone v3 but its got southern euro map on it only and no uk

tried HOME and as its too old cant even get the std uk map back on , hence coming on this forum

ive been reading a few threads but lots seem to be old and links not working

ive been trying to get the uk map with installer but the link just redirects to a porn site

can anybody forward me to the right maps and navcore and iff poss an installer, many thanks

You won't find an installer but it's all pretty simple anyway, just make sure you do a full backup first in Windows Explorer:

1. Download United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland 1045.10006 from here & extract the archive to the root of your device.
2. Download FastActivate from here & extract the archive to the root of your device.
3. Locate & run FastActivate.exe in the root of your device and select option 2 > then select option 3 (you should see successful messages each time)
4. Disconnect from the PC and test

having a bit of a problem, extracted onto my tomtom and ran the fastactivate.exe and just a dos/command screen flashed up and went off so didn't see no options

tried putting the fast activater and meta into the Republic of Ireland 1045.10006 with the map data and same again

then I copied all the files out of Republic of Ireland 1045.10006 folder and pastesd into the tomtom root
same flash again

ive disconnected the sat nav and I now get


problem with map

you cannot use the map on this device : United_Kingdom_and_Repuiblic_of_Ireland

No, map files need to be in their own separate folder...so remove the files you put into the root and stick with the instructions I gave you above

Maybe you have a problem with your anti-virus blocking FastActivate.exe...it's a common issue, so temporarily disable it whilst you do the jobs on your TT
