Tom Tom ONE New Edition missing .dct file [SOLVED]

Hi

I've formatted a new 2GB card for my Tom Tom One and installed navcore 7.903
I then downloaded UK and Ireland maps 960.7075 with automatic patcher and installer.
Everything seems to have worked but I cannot activate the maps. The TT Home system recognises the maps on the device but indicates that they need to be activated. When I run option 2 on fastactivate I get the following message

I've looked in the SD card folder and there is no .meta.dct file.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Not only does FA report a .dct error but it als classifies the map as incomplete.
So check again if you are using a current version of FA and if you have installed the map correctly.

As Razorblatter said, FA reports your map as incomplete so make sure that your map folder on the SD card is named something like this:

United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_960_7075

You can call it anything you like but it must contain no spaces or special characters and the complete map must reside within that folder.

Once you're happy with that, download FastActivate from [Please Register or Login to download file] and extract it to the root of your device

Then navigate to the root of your device and run FastActivate.exe and choose options 2 then 3

At this point you should be done but if you're getting the same error, then it would appear the map you downloaded is incomplete which would be very unusual.
If that's the case, download the same map again from another one of our uploaders [Please Register or Login to download file] and try again following the same process: extract map to device>run FastActivate again choosing options 2 then 3

downloaded the map and FA again and it came up with the same error message but I tried fa once more and it worked. thanks very much for all your help
