currently has 8.083/9669 navcore on and i want to update the navcore and if possible get tom tom vocalizer or loquendo voices working on it

which navcore do you recomend

tried that navcore and it wont boot past tom tom logo screen is there anything i need to change in it before copying it to device

Did you do a clean install or an overwrite install?

clean install deleted everything first (not a format)so deleted everything again at the moment i have new map , post codes vocalizer and fast activate on device thats all

I always do an overwrite.
Did you by chance copy your mapsettings.cfg file from the old map to the new one?
Do you have more than 1 voice in the VocalizerTTS folder?

tried the overwrite , everything was overwritten ok but still it just stick on tom tom boot up screen

used a SE version of 8417 in the end worked fine and got tt vocalizer working with it and over 6mb ram free so pleased with that
