i have a tom tom go v5 and a blank 2gb card can someone please point me in the right direction for software and maps and tutorial if possible so i can get this running for my son

Download the keygen of your choice. FastActivate ENG 13.07.2010 Version 1.2 is the newest . http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?2011-FastActivate-ENG-13.07.2010-Version-1.2

Copy the downloads to the card. Patch the map with the keygen. Done!

ok i dont suggest you update your NavCore here,,,,
you have a bootloader version 1.XXXX...
those are special bootloaders....

but you can install any desired MAP you want....

do you want your MAP to be on your internal memory or on your SD card?

yes m8 id like it to run from the sd card ive got a 1 and 2 gb card im a total novice and this will be the first time ive tried anything like this so here goes lol

The 1 GB will be fine for the navcore & UK/ROI map.

If you have problems, help is available here.

Ok [color="Red"]Changing your navcore is not reccomended [/color] as the bootloader is v 1 and seems no one has told you here that if you do not change your navcore and use a SE you need to patch the ttsystem, please find in the link below a pre-patchd 7.903 ttsystem i have patchd for you just copy to the root of your device overwriting when prompted,

Also another thing the UK map mentiond in post #6 is not good for your navcore it will NOT work please use this map this will work with your navcore but you will not have ALG + IQ Routes .

Correct. Is that a problem for you...no m8 ive sorted it with that jdownloader trouble is ive downloaded the other map mentioned so ill have to get the new map you said lol im new to this and its the first time ive done it so wish me luck lol
