TomTom 0ne First Edition

Please stop asking for every function your TT has and use the help on the device or download a manual from the TT website.
We are here to help but not here to teach how to use the menu.
Get used to it, check the options and will find it ;)

Has nothing to do with attitude.
As I said : we are here to help, but we can not explain every single menu function.
There is no need to get upset about it as it only takes less than 20 minutes to work through all menu options in detail, after which you will know what they do.
It owuld be a problem if the settings are missing but please understand that you need to learn how to use your GPS.

I was not expecting you to talk me through step by step. if that's how it came across I apologise.

English is not my first language so somethings I struggle.

It isn't my GPS. I have never owned one as I don't use a car. I am doing it as a favour to a friend.

I have done it all working perfectly.

LOL, if it is not for you anyway than I'm pretty sure the owner will know how to work it out.
If the map works and you got sound for all I guess your "work" for him is done ;)

On some device the amount of voices you can use is limited, are they premuim or normal voices, what are the exact filenames?

Sorry to be a pain. I want to make it perfect for her. She has just passed her test and is quite nervous driver so I want her to have an up-to-date reliable GPS. It is the Ozzy Osbourne voice? I have attached a capture of the file.

Thank you.

I have gone into tomtom home - manage your navigation device - voices and they are there the two voices that I downloaded but are not available for selection in "change voice"

Did you setup the alerts after you activated the cams?

TT speedcams are different than POIs. You will not find/see them in the 3 places that you have named.
Quote from post 1 of the Speedcam thread:

These cams DO NOT show up as POIs. The alerts are set in TomTom Services. To confirm the cams are functioning, create a route, where you know you will be going past a camera (Safety camera warnings are now only given when relevant and on the same side of the road). In Route Summary, do a Demo of the route. If the camera shows up on the Demo, VOILA!!

What device & navcore are you working with.

I get the impression I am suppose to set alerts in Services? I cant seem to find "Services" on the TomTom One running Navcore.8.412.1236_32mb?

I apologise I dont own a car let alone a GPS. I am doing this as a favour to a friend.

Thanks.
