Check the Switchfiles on your device (more in the tutorial section) and try X40light emulation.

Your cams are not patched. Confirm that you have cam ov2.dct files in your map folder.

yes, sorry, i just updated maps to latest version but read you don't need to keep patching after initial patch. i tried patching again before reading your reply. they are now working again thanks.

please may i ask one final question? there is a speedcam folder on the root. would I be able to put future cam updates in there or do they have to be in the maps folder or the root of the card? thanks

1. UPDATES do not require re-patching. NEW items must be patched.
2. There should not be a speedcam folder in the root or anywhere else in the unit. ALL speedcam, fuel, POI, etc. files go in the map folder.

yes i did wonder why there was a speedcam folder. as I was aware cam, fuel, POI all went in the maps folder. are voice files suppose to go into maps folder or in the root? as there is also a voice folder.

Computer Voices:
LoquendoTTS voices go in a LoquendoTTS folder.
VocalizerTTS voices go in a VocalizerTTS folder.
Non-computer voices go in a Voices folder.
No voice files go in the map folder.
