No and I don,t expect that it is possible in the future. So buy a new TomTom. For around 100 pound je have one with liveTime maps and you don,t have to worried every 3 months were to find a new map.

I just found one in my house and wondered if I could update maps before selling it :P

Yes, TomTom will be more than happy to sell you all of the new maps that you want.

Best option is tot taken advantage of a map sale with 30 or 40% discount.
