tomtom go 300 maps help

Postby Fatboyfun » Thu Sep 26, 2013 5:27 pm

Try X40 or 34 XL, I think it was one of those I used to get the option for ALG and TomTom services for speedcams together last time I did a Go 300.

It's been a while, but I remember it being the only option that allowed both together.

Do you have an icon in the main menu that looks like "DSA"?

That's the skin selector.

Tapping it allows you to scroll through the different skins and either tapping, long tapping or double tapping (can't remember) on the center icon reboots the device with the selected skin.

Your device may get stuck in a reboot loop if the skin isn't suitable, you will need to edit the skin/reskin file to fix it.

Then turn off your device, put the sd card into a pc and look in the skin folder for a file called "reskin"

Open this file in notepad.

If that doesn't work, or the device doesn't boot try another emulation.

I don't have a TomTom, I'm doing this from memory.

I don't know about moving the lane assist arrows, but stick with the current emulation as I remember only one being suitable on a Go 300.
