thnaks guys
i need help with my tomtom 3rd generation i formated my tomtom but did make a backup and i need north americas maps and dont know were to get them or how to install them please help me.

Confirm you have a TT ONE 3rd Edition with 1GB of internal memory. To confirm this, connect your device to your computer. Open Windows Explorer. In the left window, right click on the TT Drive, then click Properties.

Not without knowing what navcore is installed in your unit.

Connect your device to your computer. Open Windows Explorer. In the left window, left click on the TT Drive. In the right window, open the ttgo.bif file with notepad. Line 9 is the navcore version.

Go here: 865 maps with installer and FastActivate Read the instructions carefully. Password is at the end of "Screenshots and some explanations".

Then select: USA_and_Canada_865.3261 874mb

i dont see the fastActivate or the password and when i try to download the maps a small windows comes on a the screen and i dont know how to take off help me

FastActivate is included in the USA_and_Canada_865.3261 download.
