Hello all,

I have bought an second hand tomtom go 710 for my uncle.
And is was wondering if there are still new cards for it like whole europe ?
Do i need to do something special besides patching tt? Like a new navcore etc etc????
with lane assistents etc etc.....

Have downloaded the latest 925 maps for now , but if there can 2GB+ cards in it.
I must download a diffrent one....

Its only has 1GB storage.
So i want to buy an new SDcard for him. My question is can there only store SD-CARDS OR SD-HC-CARDS to? (Because than i will buy an 4/ OR 8GB SDhd-Card for him..

I found 300+ items when searching with this as the title and got distracted after the 10th page with no success!

I also note that the tutorials section is still empty. Will those available before the crash be replaced?

The tut section is not empty. There are 3 pages of tuts in it!

Thanks......however, I find just your first post of 26 Dec 2011 with both my iPad using Chrome & my desktop with Mozilla. Odd eh? I also don't seem to have a Thanks button on either platform, which is why I didn't thank Fredderf for his post in response to mine.
Thoughts?

1. Issue solved. You are looking at a dead link to the actual Tut sub-forum. I breathed some life into the link, so please take another look.
2. The Thanks button is the Thumbs up fist on the top line, between the quote button & the member's name.

I have downloaded the latest 925 map already with all the features on it.
So does this map works in this situation? I have an 1GB storage sdard where says Western eUROPE
But will by an new card with alot of more storage on it.

PS: how to get an SD-CARD? because the new SD-HC-CARDS doesent work on the TOMTOM GO 710 right???
I have spoken TT customersupport and they told me only 2GB max SD-cards are working.
So i will buy an 2GB storage SD-card

So my seconds question is: What is a good card wat covers Europe (+ even bosnia)


My 3th question is, what to do now because knowing that the tt doesent support SD-HC cards....

Your GO 710 can support sd cards > 2 GB, so SDHC cards.
TT only give their default answer which is not really applicable if you step off the official navcore intended for your device.

Just be patient and hang on to the moderators advice.
