The 7100 is a dedicated Truck device, so you should have no problem with it.

Except the 7100 and 7100 Truck runs the uncrackable v10 navcore and uses a different (matching) truck map and you only get Live Services if you subscribe to Webfleet and also buy a Link 300 box of tricks. see [Please Register or Login to download file]

Thanks for that, totally forgot the fact that these are the new HD models - shame on me ;)
In that I have to revise my previous statement and would suggest that you switch the device for a 720/730 if you still can.
The only other option at this time for NC10 based devices is to buy the maps from TT which is a bit dear for the truck map.
