TomTom Go 750 Exclamation Mark Sidebar

Postby lammy » Sun Mar 31, 2013 9:40 pm

I'm using a TomTom Go Live 750 Navcore version 9.430.
I have just updated my maps and noticed a sidebar to the right of the screen with an exclamation mark in the middle of it, if I access it I get a screen asking for a Username, if i cancel this I get a
spinning logo, then it goes back to the main screen, if I press it again I get this message "Connecting To TomTom Server Please Wait" how do I stop this sidebar popping up ?

Thanks in advance.

That is no sidebar, it is the traffic bar ;)
This only is active if a TMC receiver is used or if the Navcore is stuffed up, is won't be activated just by changing a map.
I suggest to perform a clean install on an empty device.

Have you looked at Main Menu, TomTom Services, Traffic?

FYI, Navcore 9.465 is the current official navcore for your 750 LIVE!!

Yes. Download [Please Register or Login to download file] & 9.465 SE ttsystem.rar
Unzip the .cab file & copy it to the root of your 750, overwriting any common files.
Unzip the SE ttsystem.rar & copy it to the root, overwriting the existing ttsystem file.
The SE ttsystem file is defaulted to X40 emu. Copy the attached model.txt file to the root of your 750. This will change the emu to X50.
Disconnect & reboot.
DONE!!
