Why do you feel a need to test a map after the download.

It's because I still use a CE based device and it is not always obvious if a map will work for me.

Have you tried looking at the compatibility chart in post 1 of every new map thread?

IMHO TT for CE is worth nothing these days.
Totally outdated interface, memory problems, saving problems, no TTS, no nothing.
No idea why anyone would use it with so many better options on the market...
