Not sure if this is the place to ask but here goes.

I have downloaded a copy of Tomtom from the torrent sites. These things come with no instructions. I've been trying for 2 days to get the thing working. Would have probably been a better use of my time to just pay for the software. Anyway, I'm now in a mindset of this won't beat me. I've downloaded several versions from the torrents and none of them work. I keep getting the can't connect to tomtom error or the app just crashes.

I'm using android 6.01 and I've read tomtom can be a bitch to get working at the best of times never mind when a torrent copy is involved.

Any ideas guys or girls?

You have to install the apk from the google play store first.
Run it - But don't install any maps.
Uninstall TT from your phone, but NOT from the PLAY STORE
install your new APK
