I would have selected 860.3100 or 3101, but since 3128 has an installer, go with it. You are correct, but this "part01" bothers me a bit. You need to have a ttgo.bif file on the card before you run the map installer. You can use any .bif that you have that is from the 500.

Thanks tendriver...
But isnt it so that after you instal navcore and you start your TomTom for the first time that it automaticly generates a ttgo.bif file????? i did the test and yes after copying the navcore to my TomTom there is no ttgo.bif file, started up my TomTom and after that there is a ttgo.bif file.. So then i copied my Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB_860_3128 to my TomTom....
This time i copyd the files ans not used the selfinstaller ,after the files are copyd i copyd the FastActivate and executed it...
Is this the normal procedere???? because it did not work ,same message again (no maps )

If i do al this with the Benelux_860_3126 Map everything works like a charm....
Dont understand this..
Thank you

Thank you tendriver ,i did eveything again but this time i cpyd the ttgo.bif file from my old original benelux map that came with my tom tom and it works , to get the speedcams to work i just have to put them in the Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB_860_3128 on my tomtom and then activate them right????
I have another question if you dont mind , the map i had before was about 1 years and a few moths old and had also the SE_Navcore.8.412.1236 and i i had a route planned and was driving on the interstate , and i had to take the exit my tom tom would show me with arrows the lane i had to take.. also you could turn it on and of in the menu of the tom tom..
Now i have the same navcore but in the menu i can not turn it on or of..

But thank you for everything..

1. Correct.
2. This 8.412 is probably defaulted to a different emu than the other version. Go Main Menu, Change preferences, Advanced preferences page 2, "Show lane images".
But the 3128 maps don't have ALG, so it will not work.

It's not the navcore, it's the map. As I said, 3128 maps don't have ALG. You need W&CE 860.3101, WE 860.3101 or WE 860.3123.

[Please Register or Login to download file] (8MB free memory, x40light, TTS and FM off)
Pass: navitotal

Can someone please explain these modifications and how I can apply them...

I have a TT ONE XL with a nice working 9.101 and 860x map but I only have 3MB free ram

I also will be trying out the 9.205 auto installer when my new SDHC card arrives... And would also like to disable these items if they are of no benefit to me... ?

Is there a tutorial on optimising and disabling unused parts of NC's ?

Hi tendriver,

I found the nc on another forum, XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Navcore for the lazy 9.101_one.rar

I install that one after I put 9.103 that was working and crashed after I tried to add more voices...

I have upgraded the boot with the system file from 9.022

I am keen to try 9.205 from this thread once my new sd card arrives

I have also now got the readmenot.txt file and will spend some time to get the system working perfectly !!!

I will let you all know my final configuration once I am happy with it ...

For Quality Control, Navitotal does not offer support for navcores or maps downloaded from elsewhere. You won't see any significant difference between 9.101 & 9.205.

I do understand your policy and reasons for this...

I was looking for help with the emulation modes and settings

These settings are generic regardless of nc version and source...

I have not done any work with tomtom device for several years, so I would class myself as noob...

I have joined most forums over the past few days but find this forum the most friendly and best on the net, I will not make the mistake of using any other source for my information now !!!

I appreciate your understanding.
Yes, the settings are "generic", but Navitotal has no idea what is or isn't in a modified navcore from elsewhere. Therefore, to prevent giving inappropriate advice, we don't offer support.
We will be happy to help with any problems encountered using Navitotal downloads.
