No, Outsourced folders are for 32MB units, not 64MB units like your 720.

Wow im very impressed with how easy this is to use:clap: I have a go710 and have been dabbling with various navcores and maps with varying levels of success.
But this was up and running instantly, so easy and quick a child could do it, am now running 9.026 with western europe V855.2931 and works stunningly.
One question while i have your attention when i use tomtom home it says " you have an invalid version of tomtom app" is there anything i can do about that
or does it just come with the territory so to speak?

Brilliant stuff though cheers to all involved.

1. To fix version error.
Open your 710's ttgo.bif file with Notepad.
Replace lines 9 & 10 with these:
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=7903
ApplicationVersion=9183
Save it as ttgo.bak
Disconnect & reboot.

May I ask why you downloaded WE 855.2931?

Yep again brilliant problem solved....
The reason i used 855.2931 was because it fits on a 2gb sd card, did originally try with we 855.2884 as it has
all the bells and whistles but would not fit. Until i pluck up the courage to upgrade bootloader to something that
works with SDHC cards, as SD cards only seem to go upto 2gb....what would you do in my position??
Im currently running 9.026.483454.1 boot 4.8600 and as you know west eur 855.2931.....

Download this .cab archive from the link below and extract to a folder on your pc, copy ONLY the file "system" to your device root and reboot, this will upgrade your bootloader , make shure you have a charged battery before attempting the upgrade and DO NOT interuppt the upgrade at all wait untill it is finishd,

Yes, you are using navcore 9.026, but not the 9.026 bootloader, which is 5.5259. You are using bootloader 4.8600. Follow djc's instructions in post 38.

Wow that is so cool, did a clean install from a blank 4gb sdhc card
with all as suggested, added speed cams and bingo go 710 has
been dragged into 2010.
All works brill, struggling little bit to get computer tts voices to
work but will play around with that unless any tips from anyone
hint hint.
Any newbies reading this thread with a 710 would very much
recommend what has been discribed up to here.
Keep up the great work chaps. Many many thanks.

have tried a few TTS7 voices, after putting them in loquendo file and auto activating they show up
with the other voices and you can select them ok but they are silent....normal voices all ok.
Also just tried the tomtom home way but it says not for this device
