TomTom Automatic Navcore Installation

hi everyone
i have a tomtom 910 with navcore 7.903 i believe and boot loader 4.86.
can i just download and install this automatic navcore and download an up to date map of wce 8.70?
i really want the alg and iq routes.

plus do i need to update bootloader?

Any Navcore 8.2xx or higher gives you supprot for these features.
I recommend updating the bootloader to the 5.5112 or the 5.5128 but that's up to you.
Get the Navcore of your choice, add a map and use FastActivate for the rest.

Password, if any: downunder
Unpack to the root of your device and reboot.
Don't interrupt the installation of the bootloader!
You only need to update if you need support for SDHC or if a Navcore >= 8.4xx freezes randomly for no reason.

im doing it now but all i get is the pic of tt910 with hard disk pic at bottom of lhs and on the rhs a big red circle with a white x in middle, do i need to reset by pressing the pin as i just swithched it off and on after copying file you gave?

its ok ive got it to work with navcore 9.051 but it says that the map doesnt work with this version/device?

ive got uk and ireleand map 8.70, am i still doing something wrong. aaaaargghghhh

You always need a patched Navcore and activated map.
Confirm the Navcore is patched and a .meta.dct file present in the map folder(s).

I have instaled on ONE XL V9 BLACK EDITION 32MB

the 9.026 runs very slow.
the 9.205 runs better (have 5MB of RAM free) this is normal?

The menus of the navcore 9.205 are great and runs fine on this device.!

thank you downunder, my tt 910 is working a treat i have the latest maps on aswell!!!

the only thing i dont have is house numbers, which is weird as i have europe west 870.3405, i really wanted to have a uk map with house numbers (according to the chart) but this was the only one i could find?

any ideas?

HNR (house numbers) only applies to Greece & Russia. A UK map uses Postal codes.

Good afternoon. Recently my wife gave me a tomtom iq routes XL2 Europe, but it does not have the full menus. I did an upgrade and a downgrade to navcore, the menus are complete but I no longer get sound from the gps. What can I do to get sound and full menus? The GPS came home with navcore 9151 and i used the 9160 and 9150.

I suggest you go back to 9.151 & mod it with [color=red]Full Menu for a Start[/color]. Yes, it sez "for a start", but......

I have tryed the automatic install of SE_Navcore.9.205.547817_32mb.
after a few min, it says that it cannot write file, probably because disk is full (yep 12kb remaing at this time).
What should I do, clean all file on the TT and try again, then download the european map (and wich one) ? will it work like that ? or some important files will be missing.
