1. Thanks. But the credits all go to you :)

2. I thought they didn't work. But I found the "Tomtom Services" menu, and they should be enabled now.
Only way to know 4 sure is test it on the road I guess...

3. Found it :)

In Main Menu, Prepare route, do a short A to B route past a few cams that you are aware of. Then run a "Demo" of that route.

1. Sounds like you did an actual driving "demo". I was referring to an onboard "demo", done without leaving the house.

2. I hope your friend appreciates what you have done for him. You are Welcome.

FFR, these navcores were built for 32MB RAM devices, by adding files & folders that your 930 doesn't need. Changing navcore in a GO X30 is as easy as it gets. You copy the new navcore .cab over the top of the existing navcore. Copy in the SE ttsystem/PNDNavigator file overwritng the common files.
Done.

I've got a One XL S (about 6 years old) with 8.010 Navcor (latest official). The XL S doesn't do IQ routes, but if I replace the Navcor with the 9.205.547817 here, will it add IQ route ability? If so, which maps should I get to go along with it (880.3867 maps for 8.010 don't have IQ)?

1. OK.
2. Yep
3. Any map on the chart with a green YES in the IQ + ALG column & a green Y in the navcore 9.2XX column.

Thanks. I am also looking at the bootloader, since the one included with 8.010 won't read large SD cards. But is there a chart somewhere that shows which bootloader is included with each Navcor, I can't find one? I've read that some Navcors aren't recommended for certain TT's, so I need to see which is the latest Navcor I can use with the One XL S.

The bootloader, in any navcore 8.300 or higher, will update your ONE XL to accept SDHC cards. You have a wide choice from 8.412 up to 9.205.

Thanks. I am looking to put Navcor 9.051 on the ONE XL S along with the 880.3810 maps (putting them all on a 2GB SD card). Does the ONE have enough ram and CPU power to handle the IQ routes and the ALG and all that or will it be really slow? Would it be able to handle the newest 9.400 Navcor (same question about being slow)?

1. The 885 map edition just came out. You might want to wait a few days for a new map.
2. IQ & ALG do not cause a problem in the 32 MB units. Trying to use a LoquentoTTS voice is the big problem. The older VocalizerTTS voices are fine.
3. We have had a lot of members load 9.205 on different ONEs with no problem. We haven't gotten enuf feedback on 9.400 yet.

2. What is the difference between Loquento and Vocalizer? How do I choose which type to install?
