The file MapSettings.cfg you can find it in your map. Save it and place it in your new map. It is not always working.

do you know where are registered the favorites? In what file? In what name?
I also have a tomtom one, And I have none concerns for transferer my favorites, of my old map and what I restick in the file of the new map, without any problem with this file" MapSettings.cfg"...
this file may have another name but i don't know it???

What I said the favorites are in the file MapSettings.cfg.

There is a possibility that it is different with a Carminat system.
I am not aware where you can find the favourites. Normally it is alway,s in the MapSetting.cfg
You can try it out. Make a route and save it as a favourite.
Look if there is a MapSettings.cfg file in your country map.
If you have this file move it to your PC. Start the Carminat and try if you
can navigate to your favourite. That should not be possible because it is no longer there.
So place the MapSettings.cfg file back to your country maps and you can navigate to your favourites
