Is TomTom dead?

Postby userbb » Sun Sep 12, 2010 8:46 am

I can buy a TomTom Go 910 with the following description:
The device starts up with the TomTom splashscreen and sound...

Subsequently a Go910 screen appears without red cross.

At this point the device stops and hangs.
Is it possible to reanimate this device (off course with your help) ?

Thanks in advance.

I would say a hard reset followed by the TT clear flash tool will help, after that a fresh install of Navcore and map and you should be up and running again.
But without you being able to fully test the device it can only be an asumption.

I second downunders reply, sounds like an easy fix but without actually testing the device it is hard to say

Only if you get a full money back guarantee with it.
