TomTom Europe Fuel Prices (Lost our donor. No more updates)

1. Confirm that you are referring to updating fuel only.
2. Without knowing step by step exacting what you did, it's almost impossible to know what you did wrong, if anything.

I am only updating fuel prices.The story so far is I have not used fuel prices since returning from uk.But I have now discovered that when I have updated the go ie maps and quick fix it also downloads tomtom business solutions.It is this that is stopping fuel prices from working.
The problem is that home will not give me the option to un tick business solutions ,so it then downloads it and stops fuel prices from working.
I think i need a solution to stop tt business solutions from loading ???

1. Are you referring to your 700 or 530?
2. What version of Business Solutions is being downloaded?

tendriver thanks for getting back to me,its my Go 530 I am updating,on the home page it says
Tom Tom business solution application for GO520/720/920/530/630/730/920/7000 and go9000
it is 55.1mb on the more info page it say see [Please Register or Login to download file] but i cant find any info if i look at that web site.

The lastest TT Home wants to upgrade units to the latest application for that unit. Because you have 8.395 & 8.398 is current, TomTom is insisting that you install it.

2 options:
1. Accept the upgrade & patch the new navcore.

2. Open the ttgo.bif file with Notepad.
Replace lines 9 & 10 with these:
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=8351
ApplicationVersion=9982
"Save as" ttgo.bak
Disconnect & reboot.

Yep I have done the above but it is still the same.I will download new application and patch with autoactivate and let you know the results.This may have to be done tomorrow as my connection has just slowed right down.

2 options:
1. Accept the upgrade & patch the new navcore. AutoActivate does not patch navcores. Use FastActivate Premium.

If you prefer not to upgrade, this works with these new values.
2. Open the ttgo.bif file with Notepad.
Replace lines 9 & 10 with these:

ApplicationVersion=1917
"Save as" ttgo.bak
Disconnect & reboot.

Have accepted the new 8398 navcore and patched downloaded latest fuelprices and patched.Still not showing on menu.will revert back to old navcore and change ttgo.bif file and let you know.


Have done all the above and it still insists it wants to download the latest navcore ???

Just noticed that the ttgo.bif file reverts back to the old navcore does not stay on 8398

OK have allowed update and have patched but will not allow fuelprices to run.Have noticed with new navcore that I can use FM transmission with truck map so will go without fuelprices so I can have FM.So if any one sorts out a way to use fuelprices with the new navcore I will be intrested to hear from them.

Comfirm you have 6 files, related to fuelprice/fuelstations in your map folder.

???? I have 5 files eu.bmp eu.fpf eu.ov2 eu.ov2.dct and euov2.ver

No fuelprice.png??? This is the icon that is seen in the TT Menu.
