I doubt if that is the reason it is not showing on your device but unfortunately I don't know the solution either, come to think of it on my friends TT XL that I upgrade the map on last week the fuels did not show up on that one either, but unfortunately I did not have time to try and find out why.mrhermano wrote:So do you know if that's the reason why I can't see the application on my device? If I install a map that includes those countries will it most likely show up on my device?

Does it work for Scandinavia BTW? Is that the reason maybe?

oldfogy wrote:But surely even though Scandinavia is not covered surely the actual fuel price app would still show, but probably with all the fuel icons showing no prices whatsoever, simply because there is no price information.

1. isn't it there a more direct way to get these files rather than having to visit this thread?
2. wouldn't it be better to know the source of those files and get the most up-to-date version ourselves whenever we need them? just as a suggestion.

1. does it make any sense, once downloaded these files and selected the appropriate one, copied all of them to map folder and activate them with FastActivate, to see a "no information available" under "last update" at the lower left corner?
2. when I press fuel prices on my device, I see the correct "Diesel" label I selected from the available files, but when I use the "search by distance" or the "search by price" buttons I see all the gas stations listed with their distance to the current position, but a blue column of "--" signs where the prices should be.
am I doing anything wrong? is this behavior somehow expected?

tendriver wrote:1. This is a patched app quirk.
2. The blue column should have the prices in it. Are there prices listed in the Fuel Main Page "Cheapest nearby" & "Cheapest in area"??

pancheto wrote:2. unfortunately no information is present in all 3 cheapest options (route, nearby, area), just giving me the following message (translating from spanish): "prices information for this position/location is not available. update your device with the latest fuel prices".

1. However, I'm not sure that info gets back to the providers of the price info.
2. I think that only deals with the POI, does it not?
3. How can there be a regularly updated price for fuel at a location where there is no petrol station?
