No.

And questions for iGO and Primo are to be asked in the iGO subforum, not all over the forum.

Thanks, but both of the Ov2 files are missing.

Although I have to say, I don't know if we need those after a initial install because in the last download they are dated 08.12.2011 .

Or do we only need the relevant 'FuelStationsEU.fpf' file ?

.

1. Thanx for the heads up. The attachment has been corrected.
2. You are correct. The only thing that changes in an update are the .fpf files.
3. Right again.

Hi All,

I do not know, how to change $ to £ GB currency? Fuel prices icons are showing in $ whilst searching fuel stations within LIVE SERVICES> FUEL PRICES. I have not found such settings in menu: CHANGE PREFERENCES> SET UNITS

please for help

-------
sorry, my problem is solved now and showing in £

best regards!

How did you manage to change it from $ to £, or if you changed the icon file where did you get the icons showing the £ symbol from, thanks.

Hi,

first, i used cmd script to set "Europe" and then "Disel" when prompted. ofcourse, i patched earlier fuelprices by fastactivator. after start my tomtom, i went to LIVE SERVICES> FUEL PRICES to see whats hapend. there i noticed an icon with two $ signs nearby prices shown in a two rows below being found as the lowest and highest: $ 2.47; $ 2.56. that ico is called Find by price. so, i was misjudged that the rest prices on the three above squares are in US$, but in fact, they are in GB£ :)
i use 895.4438 map of Europe_2GB and language as English UK, so maybe that setting defines in what currency the prices are searched and presented in those square icons, i do not know.
actually, i do not have had to change anything. the hight of shown prices are equivalently in british pounds within my living area: between 1.34 and 1.43, so these values must be in £, not in $ :)

No problem but yes, the prices are in £ regardless of which icon is being displayed.

The reason I asked is that in the past other people have also asked for icons with the £ sign instead of the $ sign, but so-far no-one seems to have produced one, not even TomTom who provide the original data and icon set-up.

@ pgalko & oldfogy,

The "icon" is nothing more than a .bmp file titled "FuelStationsEU.bmp". Since the Europe Fuel Prices covers several nations with different currencies, TT elected to use a "neutral" symbol, ie the $, rather than having seperate icons with the £ or the € symbols. The $ .bmp file is the only one available. The correct prices are displayed for the country that a Fuel Station is located in.

1. Look in Main Menu, TomTom Services.
2. You should have 6 files in your map folder.
a. fuelprice.png
b. FuelStations.bmp
c. FuelStations.fpf
d. FuelStations.ov2
e. FuelStations.ov2.dct
f. FuelStations.Ov2.ver
