Ok, good job you posted the pictures....you didn't follow my instructions exactly

Remove the following from the Europe_South_1GB_995_8511 map folder and move them to the root of your device:

FastActivate.exe

Delete these from that folder too:

Meta.txt
MyVersions.txt
Updated_meta.txt

Once FastActivate.exe is in the root....run it and select option 3 & wait for successful message

Now disconnect it from the PC and tell me what happens?

now the tomtom is stuck at logo ...

Looking at your pictures, it looks like you've been trying to install another navcore as well as a map and have made a mess of the files

Restore the backup and start again...

now the tomtom is stuck on the logo and don t boot ....

Once more....restore the backup so it is working again

Or are you saying that you have restored the backup & it's not working?

Whatever is wrong, we can fix it but you need to explain your steps better so we can move forward...

Normally I run Fastactivate 1,2,3,6 , ( it may say already patched) then I restart the TT or insert the SD card into TT and restart the TT and that is it....

If it says there is an error running any of those post another pic....

First of all, DON'T SHOUT...it is considered rude & impolite!
I can understand your frustration but many other people have followed the exact same instructions very easily.
You can't answer questions correctly or follow simple instructions which is the cause of all of your problems.

1. Ok, I'm glad it seemed to work but this was not your problem
2. This was your problem...there is no update to NC 9.510! TomTom Home software repaired your navcore that you screwed up somehow.
3. This was not necessary as FastActivate is already built into the auto-installer
4. See answer 3
5. This is not a true test as TomTom Home only emulates
6. Again, you can't seem to follow the simple instructions that are given on the SpeedCam page

I am not sure if he got it working or not ? as I don't know why he deleted stuff after using an auto activated map ? ( I also read that auto activated maps are not always working these days?)

Or why he is using TT Home? just a test? turning it on would do the same thing....

I know what you mean about the language issue but I just helped another Frenchman a few days ago with the same device and that one had a very different outcome...see here

Notice how he obviously read & understood the same instructions and did what I said....and it was all over & done within 4 posts...and he also had the courtesy to hit the Thumbs Up button too. It just goes to show that some people are polite & will listen & understand whereas others are more rude & impetuous.

Despite what some people say, TT Home can be useful if used in the right way. In this case it repaired his navcore for him which ended up saving me a lot of grief.

Yes I agree, holyhead and pe1agp are very knowledgeable and are willing to give up some of their time to help others out...usually with little to no thanks too.

Anyway, it's good to see your first posts after nearly 4 years here. Stick around and you can take up the next challenge if you like...we'd be grateful for the assistance

I admit I do alot of lurking ...not so much posting, when I have time, and need to update my old TT One XL , I have been doing it now for many years and have several SD Cards for it with different Maps , as unfortunately it fell off the Window Screen and broke the USB port off the PCB since it was charging when it fell. Luckily I was able to cut the end off a 1m USB cable and solder the Power Wires directly to the PCB + and - pads and it still works though I can't access the internal 1GB now to update it... it still will try to boot off the internal with no card but it appears something is corrupted as it locks up sometimes needing a reboot.

I did see your post to the Other French guy actually , but I was thinking that perhaps google Translate just wasn't working well for Supreme1996 ? ( i know personally it's not good at russian to eng ...was trying to hack my DMM) ....maybe Supreme1996 should message Cryillem and they can figure it out together?

however as you say some people's concentration span is about 10.5 seconds on a good day...

It seems now I changed my email address as asked too by the Forum to gmail , that notifications are working , I never got any to my Hotmail acc. ,
But I am no expert , so not sure how much I can help ...I noticed this time around trolling the site alot of the tutorials seen to be gone ( dead header only) etc ...some people just can't be bothered doing a little reading for themselves though anyway.....A tutorial meesage from the Forum should be part of the sign up/registration process , it would say you Gurus' alot of typing....
