ok, i formatted an sdcard
dropped shell file into root of sd card and edited
created the new folder on sd card called MobileNavitor
now this is were i think i may have gone wrong:
i downloaded all versions of TT navcores and dropped the cab file into the mobileNavigator folder.
Which version do i put into that folder or do i have to extract the cab file to the folder?

TTN7.916.9192_VGA_Black__no_BT
TTN7.916.9192_VGA_Black
TTN7.916.9192_QVGA_Blue__no_BT
TTN7.916.9192_QVGA_Blue__no_BT
TTN7.916.9192_QVGA_Blue
TTN7.916.9192_QVGA_Black__no_BT
TTN7.916.9192_QVGA_Black
TTN 7.918.9193
TT_Navigator_Black_7.918.9193_QVGA
TT_7.916.9189_VGA_WVGA

If you look at the tutorial I linked to, you will find a version that's already unpacked and ready to go...

What you have now is for windows mobile.
