1. The green lite just means that your unit is getting power.
2. Have you tried a "30 secord herd reset?"

There two options:
a) the battery is totally dead
b) the electronics for the battery charging and power supply over the battery are dead - happens if a TT is continued to be used with a dead battery

thanks downunder, should the tt work if i unplugged the battery and just run off the mains ??. a few days ago the tt booted up and loaded but as soon as i touch the screen closed down it just kept doing that over and over reboot, touch screen ,close down. in your expert opinion would i be best chancing a new battery, forgot to say the screen has a white back light which i can see so some power must be getting to the screen ,

thanks

thanks

It is quite possible that you have a general faul in your hardware and that a repair is not worth it.
You can unplug the battery and check if the TT runs fine on mains, if so consider spending 10 bucks on a new battery ;)
If the TT still acts faulty do a clean install of Navcore and map on an empty device and check again after using the TT clear flash tool and a good old hard reset.

its going from bad to worse ! i can not use the tt clear flash tool as the computer does not recognize the tt or the sd card when plugged in, take the sd card out and plug the card into the computer it recognizes ,but it will not recognize the tt on its own, also took the battery out alltogether and tried to run on mains still will not turn on

thanks again
