If all went well, the map is installed - but did you go in the menu and select the new map? ;)
Is there a .dct file inside the 910 map folder?

Did you install it on the SD card and not on the TT itself ?
If you did not copy ttgo.bif from TT to SD then the map will not be patched.

If your TT is on f:\ and the SD card on g:\, you should see your Europe map on g:\Europe.
Within that g:\europe map folder you should see a .dct file when it's patched.
and ttgo.bif should be on f:\ and g:\

ttgo.bif is rewritten each time you start your TT so make sure you restart (or reset) your device after installing the installer program.

How big is the internal memory of your TT?
Never mind, you chose Eur-West not Europe...

Even more important: you dont open xxx.partx.rar!

No, you just click the .exe and let downunder's magic unfold.
You can open .exe in winrar and check the entire archive for errors.

You can delete the old map.

That's a strange message, confrere.
What are you running? Windows 3.1?
But do you know how to test the archive you've dowloaded ?

Any advice, downunder?

How to test archive with WinRAR:

Instructions:
1 Open "My Computer" and locate the RAR file you wish to test on your computer's hard drive.
2 Double-click the RAR file to open it in WinRAR.
3 Click the "Test" button in the menu bar at the top of the screen. WinRAR will automatically test your RAR file to see if it contains errors.

You can open the .exe part of the archive because that's also part of the archive.
It could be corrupted.

You know, it might all seem difficult and troublesome to you now, when you solve this you will see that it is really not all that hard.
But apparently there's some nasty rock somewhere causing havoc.

May I suggest that you download the version without the installer. Unzip it, put FastActive.exe & a copy of your ttgo.bif file into the unzipped map folder. Run FA to patch it. Remove your old map folder from your device & copy in the new map folder. If your navcore is already patched, then you are done. Disconnect & reboot.
