TomTom GO700 Battery
My GO700 battery is very weak. Holds power just 20 minutes. I have seen, on the old forum, how to change the battery. But does someone know where to find the correct battery - not too far away from Sweden (at a reasonable cost)?

You may find this is a little more local for you [Please Register or Login to download file] as delivery is from UK and exports to EU too

I am guessing, but is in on charge most of the time, either in vehicle or attached to PC? You can rejuvenate it by allowing to run flat a few times and only giving it a little charge of say 10 mins at a time. Then from flat charge fully and disconnect. Been successful with a Psion Netbook battery still giving 10 hours since 1999. Secret is not to leave on charge indefinitely.

If you are going to change the battery, while you have your Go 700 open you might as well swap your Seagate 2,5GB micro disk hard drive with a faster, bigger and more efficient (no moving parts) CompactFlash card. Best option is a 4 or 8 GB Transcend 133x CF card.
