TomTom Go950 Live World (MicroSD)?

Postby djbosanac » Sun Jan 02, 2011 5:54 am

I want to buy a tomtom go950 good idea?
Because my old-one, is on his last days, (its doing sometimes weird stuff)

So i wanna download tomtom GO950 €280,-
But i am wondering if you can take-out the microSD, and buy a new one.
So the original can i use, if i have trouble with the device when i place a automatic installer + map of here?

Thanks in advance,,,

You can modify it like any other TT.
But be aware the the Truck Navcore won't work without some tweaks and there might be problems getting the Jukebox working.
You can get the same features for less money with an 720/730 for example.
Before you do anything you make a full backup of files using the Windows Explorr and you will be fine.

A 720/730 offers you all that there is to get except the live services.
So yes, you get all you want and have a SD card slot as well.
If you can get your hands on one for cheap you won't be disappointed after putting a V9 Navcoe and a new map on it.

I passed from a GO720 to a go950 live and this one is soo much better. If I zere you I would totally but the GO950 live...live servuces are becoming really essential especially the HD traffic. Also, the GO950 is the last model that allows you to crack software, maps etc... with all new models (via, go 1000, etc) this is no longer possible....Get the 950 live, guaranteed man!

Take a look on TT homepage -> products -> outlet store

In UK:
GO 750 LIVE Refurbished : £149.99

In Germany:
GO 750 LIVE refurbished : € 139.00

Espana:
GO 750 Europa Reequipado : 169,95 €

France
GO 950 LIVE Refurbished ; 189.95 €

tbc.

The first year LIVE services is for free

I personally would recommend original NC ( 9.058 ) on a Go x50.
I got a Go 730 for car navigation and I'm happy not using a Go x50 ;-)
