It's probably because your device is not supported by TT any more, see here

You'll have to find and install POI's manually from now on

Can I install an older version of TT Home? or it is about TT (serverwise)?
Any app/site with pois that you recommend?
Thanks

edit: just went to an old pc that I had with tomtom home 2.9.8.3722 installed and it worked. I needed to disconect internet, load tomtom home, connect to the internet and then load the POIs that I wanted.

Installing an older TT Home won't help...there are many sites offering different POI's, you'll have to google it

For me it worked, I unninstaled the newer version, installed 2.9.9 from this site: http://filehippo.com/download_tomtom_home/68514/
You just have to turn off internet when loading. then turn again.
edit: sorry this versions are not greyed out, but it gives me error installing POIs, but the other version on my pc works just fine.
Tried the 2.9.8 from filehippo on my newer pc and it works fine
