Trying to get TOMTOM onto a device with Win CE6, got other map programmes to work but having issues with TOMTOM. I have TOMTOM working on other devices with no issues.
I put TOMTOM and navigator folders onto my sd card using a card reader, insert card into device and run TOMTOM to get a bif.file. I then remove card and put back into card reader into PC, i run Fastactive .
When i put the card back into device i get the error "not enough memory" .
I have installed this TOMTOM many times following these steps but they have been for WinCE5 devices.
The cards are 8gb and i have around 2gb of free space.
Any idea's please ?

TomTom doesn't work properly under WinCE6.

There is a workaround, but it creates more problems than it solves.

IMO it isn't worth the hassle.

Is it easy to do the workarounds and what problems are there ?

It's easy enough to do the workaround.

What problems you can expect though are always starting with the same route in memory, unable to save favourites and certain other settings, being required to exit with a route in memory, constantly corrupting itself needing a full reinstallation from a pc.
