hi,i have deleted maps on my tomtom xl and i dont have back up,can anyone guide me step by step how to download new maps for uk and ireland on my device please?thanks

just more information,i just put sd card in card reader and run tt home see if i can operate my device and it worked fine and i can see map version 8.7 but when i conect with tomtom device it wont reconized by windows or tomtom home.thank you

Which UK&ROI 870 version did you download?
Does you XL have internal & external memory? If yes, do you have both a navcore & a map on the card?
What size card are you using?

i dowload uk and roi 870.3391 installer.exe,my xl have sd card slot so everything on the card.
the size siad installed items 231.4mb
device memory 238.5 mb
free space 7.1mb
one more question when i activate the maps do i leave fastactivate.exe in the root of sd card?thanks

Confirm that you have patched the 8.010 navcore or are using a pre-patched version.
You can remove FastActivate from the card when done.

i am not sure i patched the navcore,i undersand the navecore is the aplication.i have'nt change the aplication on the tomtom.how to patch it please?.i

Use FastActivate Premium & click the ttsystem/PNDNavigator button.

What is on the other card that worked fine in your post 3?

its tomtom one v2 not even tomtom one xl sd card.
