TomTom Mazda NB1 system 980 Australia Map update issue

Season's Greeting!
Hello all,
First post and first time try to update map.
I tried to update existing Australia 891 map to 980 but not successful.
spent couple hours to research and working around but still unresolved.
Can someone please direct me to the right step by step guide for the dumb?

what I have done were:
1. unplug SD card run Tomtom home 2.
2. download Australia map 980_7901, run and install exe file, everthing looks fine.
3. download fast active, run and patch, i can see meta.dct is there
4. both are in the SC card
5. put it back to the car, GPS unit says can not use the map.
Please correct me if something was not right.

questions:
I can only see tthome.bif file not the ttgo.bif, why? would that be an issue? I did copy the bif file to th SD card as well.
I can see SD got two folders (map), one is the old map and other is the latest, should I delete the old one?
Are fast-active and Automatic Installer & Patcher need to run in conjunctions as I did?
do I have to do anything with the meta data code?
