TomTom on Mio C250!!!!!!

Is it possible to load Tomtom on mio c250?tried with garmin too,but i can't install those softwares succesfully....!!!! Which version of tomtom should i use ? Actually i managed to make one version to start (TomTom7.910)....but the message says that it can't find map..(in spanish lang i think),and basically it asks for active sync or something simmilar,so i suppose i am doing something whrong with the maps....the map i tried to use is: Greece 875.3615_Installer....I followed the instructions,it installed the map into sd card,but no luck.....is this map compatibe with TomTom7.910? it keeps saying the same message during start up ,and somet imes i get a memory message as well when starting tomtom software.

I would need some help guys....!!!!!

There are detailed infos available on how to install TT on a CE device and how to add maps - if you don't follow them to the dot it will not work.
Apart from that TT for Windows is a dinosaur and I don't know why people still want to use it.

followed all instructions.....but with no luck....i guess it's because mio c250 doesn't work with active sync.
therefore,i plug in my sd card on my pc,and install tomtom or garmin on sd card,all as the tutorials both say,but nothing works....i would need more help about this,at least for garmin to make it work.If any c250.220 owners managed to make these softwares work,please post the tutorials you used here,or possible any missing dll's needed.....

ok,i managed to get it work.i used marco's sd ready,and used an autoactivated map for my suits....Till now these seems to run ok on mio c250: miomap 3.3,miomap2008,ginius driver mireo black edition 3.1,igo8,igo amigo,destinator9,navigon 7.7.5,all with latest maps for greece.Garmin is my next chalenge.....hope to make it work too...new skin/shell for gps with all buttons is almost done thanx to my friend Xtyler.....all aplications are ok....some games should be install too....i will upload everything so everybody can have access,for 320x240 gps systems running wince5,with 32mb ram......hopefully soon!!!!!!!!!!!!

i managed to load garmin mibile xt versions from 4.40 to 5.20 on mioc250(wince5) and on navimate330 xtreme(wince 4.2).there are some problems thought:

a)user settings are not stored on exit
b) garmin crashes when i change from enlish-american to another lang and try to find an adress.Isuppose this must be a port splitter problem.Seems there was a patch for it,but i can't find it anywhere,either for wince 4.2 or wince5.
any help would be greatfull!!!!!!!!!!!!

A, Garmin saves it's settings in the root of the device, this is lost on power off, use one of the scripts to backup and restore the settings, this script will require editing to suit your device.

B, you can delete unused languages and other stuff from your device, or there may be some corruption somewhere

There is a small bug on navigon that crashes it when trying to view the product information...
Other gps softs that i tried and they work are :
Navimate,navitotal and mio spirit,but this one works really slow,i haven't found a spirit.exe that could work more quickly,so i decided not to include it in the project.Garmin works too,as long as you use only American english or british language for menu.sounds can be at another lang thought...

Igo Amigo crashes at the second start up(memory problem),so i ''ll take it out of the project...if you have any suggestions,pleasee post it...
Haven't managed to do a crack for 4gb sd card,so the limit is only 2gb.that means only 7or 8 gps softwares will be included(depenting the maps)

Ndrive refuses to work(worked on wince4.2 but not here)

Other softwares and utilities that are installed are :

hpc media player and core player
various image viewers and bitmap editors
calculator
notepad,uk editor,word,excel,powerpoint,sketch,plamp,fileman ce,explorer,and about 30 or more games...

Is there any ready script to activate some pdamill games? i have the codes,but when hard reseting,the codes are off again....since cab installers files or active sync doesn't work on mio c250,i guess the only way is to create a script for each game,registering the activation code before game starts.
After done with this,i will be able to upload them...any help would be greatfull!!!!!!!

What Amigo are you using? Too much content from you?

I don't know what is the problem...i already deleted shemes and speedcams...but nothing!if i delete save folder,it starts ok with the original white background....at exit it switches to blue backround logo,and the second time i start it again,i get this memory error.I also tried to use a different data.gro file,but still nothing...Anyway,amigo sucks,igo8.4 works smooth....the problem now is to register the pdamill games....any sugestions?

Mortscript can backup files and registry entries and then restore them later, so find out where the licence details are stored and create a script to backup and restore them, just like the Garmin scripts.

i know where the registry activation for games are stored....is there any ready script for back up these registry keys somehow? and a command to import them on game's start up (the back up line will be removed later,so only the actual reg keys will be imported always)

There isn't a ready built script for this situation, You will need to create one from scratch following this procedure...

1, Create script to read and save the required registry entries to a text file, You can use one script for all the games
2, Run and register the games, Then exit them...
3, Run the script created in point 1
4, Create another script to restore the registry entries and start the game, You will need one script for each game

This is complicated, but some unlocks like MioPocket and the various PNADesktop based unlocks can import registry entries on startup, Use a device based registry editor to export the required registry entries and place the .reg files in the registry folder (MioPocket) or by copying the text from each file into Autorun.reg (PNADesktop)

Depending on how you unlocked the device the latter option is preferred.

ok let's say that the keys i want to export from registry are in the folder HKLM\Software\Imadpil .What is the export command for all keys in that folder?

is there any mortscript comand that autotypes the activation code and then press activation button?cause i think with reg files,there should be a soft reset first so the game work in full mode....just a thought!!!
