Post 14 was just to confirm what operating system installed on your device, the map you've downloaded is suitable so you're good to go

Double click the file you've downloaded and point it towards your connected TomTom and follow the instructions. It will extract the new map to your device & patch it ready for immediate use.

Post back if you have any problems

Remove your old map folder. Install your new map folder. Run FastActivate options 2 [patches the map] & 3[patches the navcore]. Disconnect & rebot. Done!!

i downloaded FastActivate but never used it , do i install the .exe in the root of the tomtom memmory then execute it from there and select option 2,3 kindly let me know if this is correct cheers.

i have a question when i connect tomtomhome it downloads a map but then on my pc i unzipp it and se the date of modified it shows 2009.

the map you provided is it 2015 ?

New Edition maps roll out every 3 months. FEB., MAY, AUG. & NOV.. The one that I posted for you just came out last month. So yeah, I guess you could call it a 2015 map.
