TomTom on Navman N60i advice please

Postby Katfish » Wed Sep 14, 2011 12:23 pm

I had TomTom on my N60i for a while but I manage to format the internal memory.

For the life of me I have forgot how to get tomtom to work on the n60i

Could someone be so kind to point me in the right direction on how to install tomtom on a Navman N60i thank you.

First thing, Do you have a backup?
Second thing, Don't do anything!
Third thing, If the device cannot find AppStartupSec.exe it offers USB mode, If it finds another file renamed to AppStartupSec.exe, You will run into major problems.

Is there a support CD?

Just so i'm sure (Apologies if it is already), If using a card reader on your PC, The file structure should look like this...

E:\United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland 875_3675\Cline.dat + others...
E:\Navigator\Tomtom Navigator.exe
E:\AutoActivate.exe
Where E: is what your card reader is called by your PC

There should be no folder called SDMMC, SDMMC is what some devices call the SD card, Your PC calls it E:

Did you have Tomtom Navigator 7 on this device before? Or was it TTN 6?

Try placing them in the internal memory, The Navigator folder can go anywhere, But the map folder and AutoActivate.exe should go in the root, However on some devices they must go in My Documents unless you edit the registry.

I read on other sites, that users had to make registry edits for Tomtom to find the maps on this device.
