1. is not only not necessary, but can cause a SD card to stop working properly if Windows is used.
Only format a SD card if there are file system errors on it or you get acces problems.
And if you really need to format a SD card only use the tools from the people that define the standards for SD cards : [Please Register or Login to download file]

Does the fuel option work on this particular nav core? i.e the one mentioned previously in this thread.

@export - I have followed your instructions provided in your fuel thread and transferred the files

FuelStationsEU.1.fpf - changed to FuelStationsEU.fpf
FuelStationsEU.bmp
FuelStationsEU.ov2
FuelStationsEU.OV2.ver

I have used the activator and patched them and a dct file is now showing, however, I can't see where I go to use these fuel files? I only have speedcams under tomtom services?

Copy the attachment to the root directory & recheck TT Services.

I have copied the attachment to the root directory but still I do not see anything about the fuel, only Tom Tom weather, Tom Tom Buddies, Tom Tom Safety Cameras, My Services, Read inbox messages and an arrow, which leads to page 2/2 which has the download options. The navcore version I am using is 8.412.1236

Edit: All sorted, had to change the txt file in the config folder. Nice! Thanks guys on to my next project. should be a lot simpler now.
