Don't worries Ray, they are still friends, sometime we've a different point of view.
So what ?
In the first post is enough information to start from nothing and yes, how to get the right tools.

Anyway, this small navigator will stay alive as long there are maps available and far behind.
The TomTom company has stopped already to support the elder devcices with only 2gb and less and once we all will have a device with a lifetime update
But than I'm affraid you've to buy every 5 years a new one while mine GO 910 is already from april 2006 and still alive.
I don't care, as I say here many times, I've already eaten most potatoes.

Firstly, nobody is giving pe1agp a hard time...we are all old friends

However at NaviTotal, it is a long standing rule that we do not give support by PM for good reasons:

a. it denies others the chance to learn from a previous members similar problem
b. how it was fixed is not 'clogging up a thread'...it is valuable information that we would all like to share
c. this is a public TT forum, not an appreciation society for a particular member

To be a members of NT, we all have to accept and abide by rules of the board so I don't think there is anything else to say on the matter
