TomTom One 3rd Edition Navcore-Question ...

Postby Monoblock » Wed Jun 01, 2011 8:31 pm

At first ...

Hello @ all ... cause it`s my first post here.

I`ve read a lot in your forum, especially of the Bootloader 10012.

Is it possible to change to a higher NC with my device ?

I´ve read it`s possible with other devices, but don`t find mine in my search.

I hope this is all what you need ... !?

One 3rd Edition ( 1GB internal / no slot )

[TomTomGo]
DeviceName=TomTom ONE X
DeviceVersionHW=ONE (v6)
DeviceSerialNumber=xxxxxxxxx
DeviceUniqueID=xxxxxxx
RamDiskVersion=20040301
BootLoaderVersion=10012
LinuxVersion=1000
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=8010
ApplicationVersion=9369

Thanks in advance

The bootloader on your device is actually not 10012. TomTom HOME uses a simulator and always shows bootloader 10012, which you can just ignore. This version only shows up when checking your device's version info in TomTom HOME. If you check the version info on your actual device instead of using HOME, you will see a much different bootloader version.

If you need a newer navcore version, some of the SE navcores that are known to work well with your model are:
1) 8.412
2) 8.560
3) 8.562
4) 9.101
5) 9.205
All these navcores come with their own bootloader version.
TomTom GO 730, Navcore 9.051c, 64Mb RAM, Australia 900.4602, Bootloader: 5.5250
TomTom ONE v1, Navcore 9.170SE, 32Mb RAM, Australia 900.4602, Bootloader: 5.5244

Monoblock's bootloader actually is 10012. Please notice that he copied his data above from his ttgo.bif file, not TT Home. We have seen a bunch of units with a 8010 navcore & a 10012 bootloader. Updating it is not a problem.
